The idea of the SwitchClick® ring came into existence in the jewellery shops of Ina van ‘t Hoog in The Netherlands. As a result of the successful sales of beads like Pandora, TrollBeads, and Chamilia, Ina wondered whether it would be possible to develop a ring along the same premise as the bracelet: a ring that would allow you to always switch beads; a unique and individual piece of jewellery. Working together with her goldsmith, a ring was developed and manufactured. It was at first produced on a small scale and sold only in Ina’s own shops. Soon, however, the demand for the ring made it clear that a larger number had to be produced. As it was impossible for the goldsmith to continue making each ring by hand, it was decided that the ring be produced in series. SwitchClick® ring: the original! |
